The Reluctant Accountant
Why take advice from anyone who describes themselves as a reluctant accountant? It's a good question! Especially since, I actually studied languages at university and am the proud holder of an MA in Bilingualism (yes, that's a real thing).
Well to me, that's what Finance is - a kind of language, that communicates the performance of your business (or the economy), in a way that can be understood by speakers of that language.
If you're now thinking, "Well I hated languages at school!" ... then you're in luck. I didn't. I loved them. Still do!
